Dr. Nickolas Itsines, HCI Advisor and HCI Scholarship Committee Chair presented one of the four HCI High School Scholarships to Rejendra Singh, Monterey High School senior student, during the Monterey High School Scholarship and Awards Night on May 13th at 7:00p.m.

Rejenda Singh is one of the top ten students of the 2004 Monterey High School senior class. Rejenda presented to HCI Scholarship Committee a 500 words essay on the Olympic Games and the Olympic Ideal. Rejenda wrote about how relevant the Ancient Olympic Games were at today’s world for the view point of competition and thrive for excellence.

A total of 39 local organizations and individuals honored 103 students for athletic, academic, and vocational excellence.
